Greetings from Prithvi Innovations.

This is to cordially invite all of you for 'UMANG-PRITHVI BAL UTSAV', especially being organised for the less-fortunate children, by Prithvi Innovations (on the occasion of Children's Day), as part of TEACH-INDIA initiative of Times of India and Nayee Dishayein program of Prithvi Innovations itself.

UMANG-celebrates the spirit and the innocence of these children and is a way of expressing our concern and love for them. It comprises of a series of programs by the children, for the children, mainly to give them a platform to showcase their talents, to build up their confidence and above all to make them happy.

It has been made possible due to the efforts put in by the VOLUNTEERS of Teach-India Campaign of Times of India, dedication of members of Prithvi Innovations and due to the constant encouragement and support extended by CORPORATE Friends like State Bank Of India, TCS, Vodafone and Landmark.

On behalf of all concerned, we once again wish to invite you and your family to be a part of this BAL-UMANG (small, simple informal celebration). Come to see the twinkle in their eyes and the music in their soul as they perform in front of you .

Gift them your time and make them feel precious and cared for, on this Children's Day.

PRITHVI TEACHINDIA VOLUNTEERS MEET @ IIML

PRITHVI CONDUCTED A VOLUNTEERS MEET OF THE TEACH INDIA PROGRAM AT IIM LUCKNOW CAMPUS TODAY (18 OCT 2008).TOTAL OF 45 VOLUNTEERS TOOK PART IN THE MEETING.THE MEETING TOOK OF WITH A DEVOTIONAL SONG PLAYED FOR THANKING THE ALMIGHTY FOR CREATING THIS BEAUTIFUL EARTH. IT WAS FOLLOWED BY THE WELCOME ADDRESS BY ONE OF THE CORE COMMITTE MEMBER.AFTER THAT MRS ANURADHA GUPTA EXPLAINED ABOUT THE BACKGROUND OF THE NGO PRITHVI ,HOW IT CAME INTO EXISTANCE AND THE SOCIAL WORKS IT HAS UNDERTAKEN IN ALL THESE YEAR. AFTER THIS SHE TOLD ABOUT THE VAROIUS CODE OF CONDUCTS AND VAROIUS ACTIVITES UNDER THE PROGRAM TEACH INDIA.THEN SHE INTRODUCED MR. NASEEM AHMAD AND MR ALAK WHO CONTINUED THE PROCEEDINGS ,THEY INTRODUCED VARIOUS TEACHING CENTRES AND THEIR LOCATIONS AFTER THAT THE GATHERING BREAK FOR THE SMALL SNACK. AFTER THE REFRESHMENT MR SHANTANU AND MR NASEEM DID THE CENTRE OF ALLOCATION TO THE VOLUNTEERS. ONCE THE CENTRE WERE ALLOCATED IT WAS FOLLOWED BY THE OPENION SHARING AFTER DISTRIBUTION OF INVITATION LETTER AND I CARDS THE MEETING CAME TO AN END. AT THE END OF THE DAY ALL THE VOLUNTEERS WERE HIGHLY SATISFIED WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE MEETING AND ARE EAGER TO SERVE FOR THIS CAUSE IN THE HIGH SPRITS

About PRITHVI INNOVATIONS

Prithvi Innovation is an NGO formed few years back by some of the prominent educationist and social worker of our city(LUCKNOW) such as Mrs Anuradha Kumar Gupta. The main concept behind the formation of this NGO was to help the underprivileged persons of our country.Few of the work undertaken by it include:-

1. Providing education to the kids of the labours,poor family,farmer etc who are unbale to prevail the quality education.
2. To help the women and girl children of under developed areas and slums by teaching them stiching,emboriday etc
3. To help the people of clametic affected ares
4. To make our mother earth green and clean and many more

To add to the above some of the major contribution which has been taken by PRITHVI INNOVATIONS include providing relief material to the FLOOD AFFECTED BIHAR. It also started a programme called "NAYEE DISHAYAIN" in 2007 whose main aim is to provide education to the poor kids residing in the slums,labour depost and villages. To make NAYEE DISHAYAIN achieve its aim PRITHVI INNOVATIONS redily accepted the invitation extended by TEACH INDIA PROGRAM which is a brain child of United Nation along with Times of India to teach the poor children residing in slums and undeveloped regions.
